Airtable server is not working, cannot open Airtable and any base within

Hi, I use Airtable for keeping an inventory of artworks. I need to be able to pull a PDF of selected records and selected fields, and put our branding at the top. Is this possible? I am wondering if Airtable is not the right programme for us.  Thank you,Beth

I have sent this as feedback to airtable, though I don’t expect a useful response. Partially I’m venting here, but I’m also curious about where the rest of the community sits on this (and if anyone “closer” to airtable has meaningful insight).For several years, the airtable user community has complained about the dysfunctionality of the mobile apps. A large reason we invested in building systems with airtable was the mobile apps. For 3 years, we've accepted that it has "quirks," but that Airtable was working on it.However, we've seen very little progress in this space. The apps are barely functional, which has complicated our workflow. We use airtable "in the field." However, it frequently fails to update records (i.e. you create a record, or add text/numbers to a field in the airtable app, only to find out several hours later those changes weren't saved). We constantly have to close and re-open the app to create/edit records that will give us "server errors,

Feature Suggestion: Add a record count to the page interface. This would allow users to see at a glance if there are any results matching their filters, avoiding unnecessary navigation through empty pages.ex,Section XYZ-- New (3)-- Responsive (1)-- MQL (0)-- SQL (5) 

Right now you can @ a user in record-comments, but you can’t @ a record as far as I can see.   It’s very common to want to reference other records in comments.  Yes I know I can link to other records in a record - but that doesn’t provide the context that an @-mention in comment would.   E.g. in a record named “Collapse map icons when zoomed out” - we may want to @-mention another record like“We should make sure that we coordinate with [@Prevent map zoom from jumping when witching to map-mode] on this one as they have overlapping parts” Bonus points if this triggers a reverse comment on the mentioned record like:“This record was mentioned in [@Collapse map icons when zoomed out]> We should make sure that we coordinate with [@Prevent map zoom from jumping when witching to map-mode] on this one as they have overlapping parts” Desireata“@” in a comment triggers a search not just over users but als

We’ve been testing AI agents in production since around April 2025, and what’s already working well is the shift away from rigid trigger action workflows toward agent-led orchestration. Instead of chaining dozens of conditional steps, we’re using agents to interpret context, decide the next action, and only fall back to deterministic logic for guardrails (validation, approvals, cost limits, and failure handling). In practice, this has reduced workflow complexity and made automations far more resilient to edge cases and changing inputs. For those deploying agents today: how are you structuring the balance between agent autonomy and manual or rule-based oversight? What decisions do you still refuse to fully delegate?

Ok, so last year I posted this Airtable Crhistmas Whishlist: Guess what... It seems Airtable did hear me out (in part)!!!!❌ Parent/Child Forms: We still cannot create records in multiple tables, and have them linked together, through Airtable Native forms. ✅ Smarter Automations: Conditional logic AND loopis in a single automation has been silently released some days ago. ❌ Nested Loops (repeating groups) in automations: Not yet. We can only have one repeating group per automation (however, nested conditional logic was actually released!) ✅ Higher Automation Limits: Even if not self-served, Airtable was kind enough to increase the automation limit for a few of m

The Roadmap Interface is fantastic.  It’s powerful to be able to drag records around the grid.  It would be also helpful if records could be dragged to another tab (and corresponding fields would so changed).

It’s all in the title. Horrible design choice.

Can’t tell you how happy I am about this feature! I submitted a product idea around 6 months ago for record detail sections as some of our clients have so many fields that only seeing some of them on the layout would be extremely beneficial, while having access to the rest if required. This is a small thing but a game changer for UX. 🎉

The current summary stats for linked record fields are only Empty/Filled/% Empty/% Filled. Would love to be able to calculate Unique (in particular when you cannot link multiple records). A fictionalized use case:I have two tables: a list of contacts and a list of companies. Each contact has a linked record to a single company. I would like to be able to see a count how many companies are represented by a filtered group of contacts -- either in the data view or in an interface. A workaround would be to go to the companies table, and filter to companies that are linked to a contact.However, sometimes I only want to calculate this for a subset of contacts. Currently the best solution (to my knowledge) would be to create a roll-up field in the company table that counts linked contacts who match the relevant criteria and count the number of contacts

I would like a formula that take a blockchain address in string form and converts it to its case-sensitive checksum format.  For instance calling this function on ‘0xc02aaa39b223fe8d0a0e5c4f27ead9083c756cc2’  would return  ‘0xC02aaA39b223FE8D0A0e5C4F27eAD9083C756Cc2’ The process is fairly simpleConvert the original Ethereum address into lowercase. Compute the SHA-3 hash of the lowercases address. Take the first 40 characters of the hash (which is a 64-character hexadecimal string) and replace the corresponding characters in the original lowercase address. If a character in the hash is a letter (A-F), then the corresponding character in the address should be uppercase. If a character in the hash is a number (0-9), then the corresponding character in the address should be left as lowercase. The final result is the checksummed version of the address. 

There are some functionalities that are only available in the app. If you embed a view on a site it will pop-up a message with the link to the app.The problem is that the message is at the bottom of the embed frame. If you frame is large the user can not see the pop-up as it needs to scroll down.I’d like the pop-up to appear at the top.

I don’t think it’s rolled out to every base yet, but something to look forward to! 

Is there any way to shorten the sync interval or create a setup where changes sync automatically in real time between bases — maybe using automations or scripts inside Airtable itself (without third-party tools like Zapier or Make)?Any suggestions or examples would really help ..

Hello,This is a recurring debate for past 10 years. Why is it not possible to simply create a form with hidden fields that are previously set or prefill ???Yes I know group could be hidden … for high level subscription Conditional  & Hidden fields do not submit Prefill Fields don’t work with uneditable fieldsThat’s so basic feature … I have a poll, need to attach status, linkedin objects, … not visible just to have a clean view and I’ll have to hardcode it in an automation … what a shame ! You always need to pass some tracking info. For instance, you have a CRM with Contacts you can’t send a form to the contact A, B or C with pre-field uneditable Contact field … that so basic ! 

I'm currently unable to access our master account that contains our billing information. From our side, everything appears to be in order—our IT team has confirmed there are no issues, and we've ensured Airtable email addresses are whitelisted.I'm wondering if our account may have been deactivated, and if so, I'd appreciate guidance on how we can restore access.Additionally, I’d like to submit a support ticket because we've lost a significant amount of time trying to resolve this without being able to reach a human representative. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
