I’m struggling with styling in my extension. I can see in the browser Airtable defines over a hundred theme constants useful for styling elements. I want to import these into my own style.css so I can refer to them, but I can’t find a way to do so.I have found useColorScheme() and other ways to access theme constants within typescript, but I don’t want to style everything programmatically. If I want to style in CSS, am I obliged to maintain my own list of constants?
I need to have the formula to calculate the total revenue and profit from my sales records table, which has been linked to my product inventory table. The aim of this set up is to update records automatically with every sale.
I’d like to have a progress bar (from a percentage field) on displaying the live progress on our website. I’m having a surprisingly hard time finding tool that will actually allow me to do this. Obviously I can do it by embedding an interface, but I only need (and want) the progress bar from the specific record embedded. Airtable interfaces aren’t customisable enough to remove the extra fluff.There must be a third party tool that can turn a simple piece of data into progress bar - any pointers for a tool to try? Softr could do it, but unfortunately the embed block option is at a higher subscription tier than we can justify. $139/mo is a bit pricey to display a progress bar.
I have numbers 00001 to 00014, but have not listed the numbers from 00015 to 00200 yet because I to update photos with a watermark. However, I have records from 00200 onward updated and on the website. Is there a way to include 00015 to 00200 as empty records to maintain the sequence of autonumbering then input the record for 00201 and continue? I hope this makes sense. thanks Linda

Hi Everyone, I've started using the new interface forms and come across a few issues with loading. The latest one can be seen in the attached. When a client receives a link in an email to the form, then adds some text, they get this error when submitting 'Refresh Page to Submit Form' (Refreshing doesn't help)This works OK if I'm logged into Airtable but not from a incognito or anonymous users. The form is set to allow anyone on web to submit. Anyone else having this issue? looking for a quick fix rather that return to the previous forms Cheers

Hi, I have about 50 task fileds that each have a status. They can be marked as Assigned, In Progress, Complete, Question for Supervisor, Question for Administrator. Each field is a multiple select field, because sometimes there is a question for both the supervisor and the administrator. I have a view for the supervisor and a view for the administrator that are each filtered to only show tasks that have a question for them. I have 2 rollup fields in a table that are formatted to show ARRAYUNIQUE(values). I am trying to create a formula column that combines these values in an array, and only displays unique values. I was trying to use: ARRAYUNIQUE({Rollup1},{Rollup2}), but am only getting the values from Rollup1 to show up. Help?

Hi, I’m new to using Airtable. I create a Gantt view when I set up dependencies between some milestones. I noticed that in my Gantt view when I have milestone that is dependent on another milestone, even if I move the first milestone it does not affect the milestone that is dependent on it. however, when a milestone is dependent on a task that has a duration, the change is reflected.Milestone 2 depends on Milestone 1 After moving Milestone1 one day later , Milestone 2 remains due for the 25th. I expected it to move 1 day later

Hello there!There's been a lot of talk about AI agent and MCP servers lately. I decided to cut through the buzz and figure out what if it can do something useful for my work with Airtable. I decided to spend a weekend researching this and honestly got frustrated with how not user friendly it all was. Make introduced MCP servers - but it was not very useful. Zapier was pretty good, but did not have ability to create tables and fields.There were 2 code projects for Airtable MCP servers (project 1, project 2). I can code but most of my clients or my channel viewers at first mention of installing coding environment locally will just check out. After some more digging I found a way how to set up remote MCP server that can be connected to a chat client (with Claude.ai being the most user friendly now) . I have a decent sized based we’re using as a CRM. Every entry is tagged with a representative’s name in a single select field. Over time, some reps have come and gone, and I don’t want to have their names available to select for new enteries, but I don’t want to lose the data of who made previous entries. What I really wish I could do is toggle certain single select options on and off, but I don’t believe I can do that without losing the formatting that we have now, which is helpful. Anyone know a way around this? Screen shot below of what I’m trying to achieve. I do not want to use an interface to resolve this problem, as my team typically does not use interfaces that are built for them! Thanks for any advice you all might have!

The AI document analysis tool instantly used up all of my credits. The marketing page has a section that says “AI that instantly reads 10,000 pages to find the one insight you need” but I didn’t even come close to 10k pages before it ran out of credits. I upgraded our plan and I had several users’ worth of credits. This is either a bug or the marketing page needs to change.
Hi! I am using Airtable to create an inventory of items in a museum of education related items. The vast majority of the items in our collection only have a year attributed to the item (i.e. class of '89, picture taken 1976, Spring 1935, etc). I am wanting to create a timeline view to show a history of certain schools, subjects, and other grouping criteria. Is there a way to have just a year (YYYY) be read as a date for timeline and gantt purposes?

Hi! good day!I am currently using the formula below to determine if a record/records is within last weeks Sunday to Saturday. Sunday being start of the week and Saturday being end of the week. AND( IS_AFTER( {Time in}, DATEADD( DATEADD( TODAY(), -WEEKDAY(TODAY(), "Sunday") - 7, "days" ), 0, "days" ) ), IS_BEFORE( {Time in}, DATEADD( DATEADD( TODAY(), -WEEKDAY(TODAY(), "Sunday") + 0, "days" ), 0, "days" ) ) ) If today is the 20th of June then my Current formula will tag my June 8 , 8AM record as false. If I adjust the time to 8:30AM, formula will tag it as true, would like the formula to include the entire day of sunday up to the entire day of saturday. Appreciate the help!
Hello,I am new here and am trying to find a way to create a new record (and auto-populate some data into this new record) when the user pushes a button on a different table.Example:I have table A and table B. I want to find a way whereby if the '2024 Definate Grow out' box is checked on a given record in table A, a new record is automatically inserted into table B, which copies over some of the data from the relevant record in table A into this new record in table B. I have managed to create an automation which inserts a new record in Table B every time I push the button on a record in Table A, but do not know how to copy across the data into the new record on Table B or if this is even possible. Hello guys, I would appreciate it if I could get some help on this. So the context is that I have two tables. 1 table is for quotation (Tbl_RFQ) and another table is for when quotation is confirmed (Tbl_Confirmed). For example, an item in Tbl_RFQ may invite 3 bids (i.e., 3 records). However, only 1 bid will be selected for each item. When the winning bid is selected, new record will be created in Tbl_Confirmed. This requires an automation which I managed to do. Automation to create records in anther tableThe problem is that, most of the times, some details are not yet filled in Tbl_RFQ so it means that when new records are created in Tbl_Confirmed, some fields are missing. What I am trying to do is to link the created records in Tbl_RFQ and Tbl_Confirmed together so that if the fields in a record in Tbl_RFQ is updated then the same field in the same record will be updated as well.A simple solution may be to just create a lookup field in Tbl_Confirmed that links the two tables togethe

Since our inception, I have been tracking how many hours we provided to each of our clients in Excel but it was too clunky so I have started using Airtable instead. So far I am impressed but I am having some challenges getting all the things I have pictured into my head to become reality in Airtable.So far I have built a base that has a couple of important tables. One that has the necessary information that I need to track for our clients including what services they qualify for, a weekly tracking sheet that captures each clients hours delivered for that week and a rate sheet which then can tell me what those hours translate to in terms of billing payments. Hello all, We have recently implemented Airtable on our team to account for hours worked by employees. To gather the information, I created a form in which they answer at the end of every work-day to take into account the actual hours worked. These answers feed a database that groups every reply by week/employee. In the database, I created a column of “Work-day” which is the employee’s weekly hours divided by 5 business days. This way, when they answer the form, I would have the daily overtime and then it would be grouped weekly and it would give me the weekly overtime.However, the team is mainly composed by part-time workers and that’s where it becomes tricky. We don’t really enforce a fixed start/finish hour, so a person who has a contract of 18 hours/week, may work only 2 days one week and then 5 days the next week, picture below. What I would like for it to do, and that I wasn’t able to, is to calculate how much overtime (or time they didn’t work) they are doing per week, based of
