Hello all,I am building an online registration form for clients to sign up for a Christmas Hamper program. The information I need to collect is the personal information of the client (i.e. name, address, income etc) and all the personal information of all household members. I created a base with two tables, one is the client table (for all the client data) and another table called HH_Members that holds a record for each member of the family (including name, DOB, gender etc.)Is there a way to publish a form that can collect the client information and all the household members and store it in the respective tables?How does one collect information with a “1 to many” relationship and store it in linked tables?Thanks in advance for your help,Zepppo

I work for a small non-profit organization.  In addition to developing a contact table, I’ve uploaded donations into a separate table which contains relevant data for each donation, such as date, amount and purpose.  This donation table references donor specific information such as address.I’d like to find an easy way to create thank you notes in bulk. All the necessary data fields are in the donation table.  From the donation table (or using an interface form) I’d like to choose a specific group of donations for which thank you notes will be prepared. Using a letter template, I’d like to insert name, date, and donation amounts for the selected donations.  Ideally, I’d like the thank you notes to be created in an editable format (perhaps word or a PDF document). Hard copies of the thank you notes will be mailed.  After reviewing and printing the thank you notes, I’d like an easy way to tick them off as completed. AirTable has been a cost-effective solution to our business needs, and an

Hi everyone,I'm looking for the best approach for the following use case.We have a read-only Shared View that we share with an external agency. They should be able to update only one field (Status Massnahme), which contains multiple predefined single-select status values.We do not want to give them collaborator access or edit permissions to the base.My initial idea was to include a button or link in the Shared View that would trigger an n8n workflow to update the record. However, since there are many possible status values, I'm wondering if there's a better approach.Has anyone implemented a similar workflow?Some questions: Is it possible to let external users update only one field from a Shared View? Would you recommend n8n, Airtable Portals, Fillout, Interfaces, or another solution? If using n8n, how would you pass the record ID and let the user choose from multiple status values? Hi guys!If you want to make your email better with dynamic URL, just make it: [Link name](URL) syntax directly in the email body field:Link NameAirtable's email editor renders this as a clickable link automatically.TipThis works with dynamic field values too — if a formula field outputs Link Name as text, insert that field into the email body and it renders as a link when the email sends.Common mistakeJust pasting the raw link (https://long-ugly-url.com) instead of wrapping it in Link Name — the email then shows the ugly raw URL instead of a clean clickable word.

Hi, Wondered if anyone could help with this…I have the following fieldsTitle, Sub Title, Series Title and Series OrderThen I have a full title field where I want to bring those together depending on which of those is filled in. So, if there’s a Sub Title, I want the Full title to show {Title}: {Sub Title}. If there is a series title then I want it to show {Title}: {Series Title} {Series Order} (as an aside, if I could get the series order in brackets that would be amazing, but I suspect impossible because brackets are part of the formula). And if neither Sub Title nor Series Title have an entry then I just want the {Title}. Over the last 5 or more years, I’ve entered many thousands of records in our airtable, which I use to manage our small business services.  Hundreds of entries a week, and I’ve always used a spreadsheet style page to do this.  Then I can hit shift+enter, create new record, start typing to find customer, hit enter then tab to next field and do the same for product/service.  This is using a field type that links to other tables for customers and products/services. Today, I go to do this and something changed that makes this same method seemingly impossible.  It’s like each of the fields is now a separate entity that when you enter it, any tabbing or arrow keys just change position on things within the same cell. Now to do the exact same thing I’ve been doing for years, I have to ‘Shift+Enter’ to create a new record, then hit esc to deactivate the cell, then use arrow keys to get back to the start, then navigate to the first cell and hit enter to activate it, press tab until the search + i

Hello all,I was looking in the forum, I didn’t find anything really matching this query, so here I am.Idea: have a single dropdown menu to choose an option and once it is selected the user clicks on a button to display a form (form associated to the option selected on the drop down menu).Notes: initially, no intention to use anything outside portals interface, I know there are tools out there, really good ones, with a lot of interesting features, but right now I want to know if I am hitting a portals UI limit or if there is a solution or kind of solution available within the AT platform.I am just asking if someone got hit by the same idea/issue and found a solution. We use Page Designer to generate a short price list (30 to 50 pages). This doc has images and text and, until few months ago (Sept 2025), the file size was less than 2MB.We recently added some procuts and we added some rows to this price list: the file size bloated to 30MB!We follow the same process of printing with “good” (not “best”) image quality before exporting a pdf. We also tried removing the images, printing black and white or rededesegning from scratch the document.I fear something changed in the back-end...If that was the case, it’ìd make page designer useless to us. Anybody else with the same experience? Or ideas on how to fix it? Thank you

Im trying to use airtable record search in Make . . .I have a field called PostID. I want to search it for a number. I Cant find anywhere how a simple airtable syntax works for this  .. is it {PostID}=”123456” or do i put search or someting in front of it? 

YES! Yes, yes, yes! They are finally here!!! Airtable is a relational database. As such, it allows you to link records from one table to record(s) from a different table and keep such relationship on both sides.However, there are interesting use cases in which you’d want to link records from one table to records from the exact same table. For example, you might want to have one unique table for Tasks and handle hierarchy between them (e.g. Parent task, and Sub Task(s)).When creating a linked record field to its own table, you would have seen that only one field was created (the one you did manually). You would call this field Child Tasks for example, and link through it the child tasks to any parent task. However, the inverse relationship (backlink) would not be tracked anyway -meaning which are the parent tasks for each child tasks. To such effect we used to have to create yet an additional linked record field to the same Tasks table, and create all sort of nasty automations and scrip

I’m from Ukraine, so bare with my English.) For some months I develop game-mechanics and for a few weeks I try an implementation on Airtable. And I have some issues and some problems here. So I would be quite grateful for some help. My DB consists of lots of tables, among them are ASPIRATIONS (what I try to achieve by my actions), ACTIONS (list of actions I presume to be potentially helpful if practiced regularly), QUESTS (taking an action for some exact number of repetitions during a period of time), DAYS (every record is a day of game with according events), REPETITIONS (each repetition of each quest must be there), TRANSACTION (each gain or loss of points must be accounted for). For example I add an Aspiration like “Lose 10 kilos of body weight”, then I add Actions wich I see helpful with such a target like “Run a mile a day”, then I may take a Quest with this Action. If I see subjective difficulty of this Action as 3 (of 10), than taking this Action in a Quest for a week will cost
