Column freezing is about as core to a table as sorting or filtering. Every spreadsheet tool has it. Grid View has it. List View... somehow... does not.
I only found out the hard way: built out a List View exactly how I wanted it, only to discover afterward that I couldn't freeze a column.
I unfortunately can’t "just switch to Grid View". I use List View specifically because it replaces the bulky, ugly default card for linked-record lookups with a clean Select field instead. So the assumption that column freezing/pinning is a Grid View specific need doesn't hold up. Anyone with a wide List View is going to want to keep key columns in view while scrolling, same as they would anywhere else.
If you've hit this too, drop a 👍 and a reply with your own use case. The more visibility this gets, the better the odds it actually gets prioritized.
