I have a Blank type Interface page that needs multiple elements (record picker for Table A, Grid collection for Table B, with a filter element for the grid collection view of Table B.) I need the filter element to be able to utilize both 'AND' and 'OR' logic for multiple filtering conditions, but I see that it's limited to only 'AND' logic. Is this something that has been considered? I don't see why it wouldn't be possible to set up the filter element in interfaces similar to how you can toggle the 'AND' and 'OR' operator in the the data view filtering.  

When setting permissions at a table level, it'd be great if there was the option to set permissions on who can duplicate records (and even apply templates, expand records, etc), because there are instances where you don't want records to be duplicated. For example, SKU and barcodes on products; or if a record has an integration with an API and we push our UUID for the record back to Airtable. I've attached screenshots of what I mean. This feature would be great on both the data layer and in interfaces.

It would be usefull to display a thumbnail of video files in attachement fields.

In the chart block, when I use a pie or donut style, I would like to be able to control how the pieces are sorted. It seems like they are sorted according to some fixed set of rules, but I would like to reorder the pie pieces according to the order of my records, even if it would make the chart less readable. Can you tell me if this is possible already?Thanks

What is the proposed idea/solution?Somewhere within the Automations tab, it should show you how many automations you've created and how many are remaining out of your 50. Otherwise, users are forced to manually count how many automations they've created and then subtract, which seems completely unnecessary.

Airtable needs either finer-grained collaborator permissions, or an option for editable shared views. At the moment, collaborators can either access the entire base or nothing (view-based access is read only and forms for adding records are public/password protected).Ideally, we should be able to add collaborators view-by-view.

It would be nice to split the interfaces into serveral tabs. It is helpful when you have a lot of fields in an interface.

Hello! Does anyone know if it’s possible to color code so that in the calendar view, items show up as certain colors? I’m using AirTable as an editorial calendar, so I’d love to see my blog post topics on the calendar view show up in different colors depending on the category of post. For example, food posts in yellow, DIY posts in green, etc… Thanks!

Our university uses gallery view interfaces to manage hybrid and virtual events. Each event has a unique marketing tile image that helps differentiate events in the view, along with fields showing the event title, date, and time. However, users often become frustrated when they accidentally click the image field, which opens an expanded view of the tile. They must then close this window and return to click the visible fields to access the event information. Could we add an option to disable the image field's click-to-expand function?

The gallery view is a really helpful way to visually explore a set of records by using large photos to represent them.Would greatly appreciate the ability to group items in the Gallery View by a field, similar to how Grouping is supported in Grid view.Right now, if I want to look at a subset of items as a group, I’m forced to make individual sorted gallery views, or look at items lost in a sea of other gallery items.

would like to be able to widen the first column (project name) in the iPad app. Right now, I have to toggle between expanded view and full list. Would be easier and quicker in a meeting to be able to just see the full project names in the list without toggling back and forth on each individual project.

Yes, I know that means that the fields wouldn’t necessarily line up across the cards, and I’m okay with that!Option to change card width. Hello,The automation fields don’t currently allow calculations in fields.For example, I want to create an automation that pulls the date from a selected record and adds or subtracts a number of days from that. It would be a very useful feature to automate some project tasks without having to manually enter the dates. I’m giving an example with dates but automation would be largely enhanced if we could use formulas in fields.Thank you.

What is the proposed idea/solution?Add formatting options for user fields. Specifically, provide the option to display first names only (e.g., Eduardo). Additional options, such as displaying first names with initials (Eduardo M.) or profile pictures only (which default to initials for users with no set profile picture) would also be helpful, if possible.How does it solve the user problems?Adding these new formatting options would help make large grids more compact by shortening the column width of user fields, resulting in a more efficient use of screen space. I have multiple bases in a workspace and some of them are related, even having synced tables, and other have nothing to do with the others around them. Folders would help organize my workspace.

I love using the Single Select (or Multiple Select) fields to add a pop of color to a table, and be able to see things at a glance. I also love how easy it is to change a Single Select field to a Linked Record field, and to automatically create a new table using the data from that field.But I don’t love that all my colors go away when I do this. I gain so much functionality, but lose the ability to see things at a glance. I know I can add a little colored stripe to the side of record based on certain conditions, but it’s not the same as the colorful pills in either Single or Multiple Select fields.What if there was a way to take the conditional coloring from one table, and use that to add color to that record when it appears in another table in a Linked Records field?

It would be great to allow specified groups of fields to be repeated by the user. i.e. duplicate fields in form view.

I’m using forms for user research and I would like to segment answers from different customer groups, similar to how survey monkey allows you to create different links to the same survey and segment answers accordingly. In this case I want to create I want to create different forms with the same questions, but which have a hidden pre-filled field called “Origin”, prefilled with values like “Facebook”, “Internal” or “Newsletter”, so I can backtrack what kinds of answers come from which channel.Being able to prefill fields that are hidden from the form would allow me do do this inside of Airtable rather than go to a more complicated tool like Survey Monkey.Best,Oli

When you start typing in a single or multiple select field, a drop-down appears that shows matching options, or allows you to enter a new option. Obviously this is super useful–the problem is, the behavior of the “enter” key is ambiguous in this context. In the attached screenshot, you can see that if I want to select “ASAP” here, all I need to do is type “as” and press enter or tab. But sometimes this instead adds a new option named “as.” This happens to me almost constantly, and it’s… kind of infuriating. I have to fix the record itself, then go into “customize field type” to delete the “as” option. I’m guessing what’s happening is that “create a new option” is loading more quickly than the match results do? In which case maybe just making sure it doesn’t appear until all potential matches have been checked might solve the problem. But another option that might have additional benefits would be to lock the options so that you can’t add a new option without going into

 It'd be nice when searching for fields within the HIDE, if even though it's filtering that it still showed where that field was in relation to the others instead of hiding those other fields that don't match, perhaps greying out those fields and bolding the "found" fields?When you have a bunch of fields, it'd assist in finding that field quicker to see its position relative to the others.                                   

I would LOVE to be able to create a grouped view and then filter the groups based on the summary values that Airtable generates. In this example, I’m searching for appointment scheduling conflicts. I group my appointment records by date and by scheduling slot (morning/afternoon). Then, I scroll through a long list of records looking for any groups with 2 or more records. Would be super handy to just add a filter to only show me groups where count is >1.
