What is the proposed idea/solution?

The proposed solution is to enable interface creators in Airtable to add images to an interface during the design process. This feature would allow the inclusion of static imagery, such as logos, background images, instructional graphics, or decorative elements, directly into the layout of Airtable Interfaces. The aim is to enhance the aesthetic appeal and instructional clarity of these interfaces.

How does it solve the user problems?

This feature addresses the need for more visually engaging and informative interfaces. By allowing creators to add relevant images, it makes interfaces more intuitive and tailored to specific use cases. For instance, a logo can reinforce branding, instructional images can guide users through complex datasets, and decorative elements can improve the overall user experience, making data interaction more enjoyable and efficient.

How is this validated?

Validation for this feature can come from user feedback, requests, and the observed trends in interface design across other platforms. Users who seek to create more personalized and visually appealing interfaces often express the need for such capabilities. Additionally, benchmarking against other data management tools that offer advanced interface customisation options, including imagery, can further validate the need and effectiveness of this feature.

Yes, that would be a very welcome addition to Airtable’s interfaces. Currently, you can only get this sort of functionality by paying extra money for external interface apps like NolocoSoftr, JetAdmin, Pory, or Glide

This would really help in truly app-ify-ing the interfaces, and would make for a great use experience.

Please do this as soon as possible. I've been using LookerStudio which is HORRIBLE UI but at least you can make it look beautiful with images. The current Interface Designer platform doesn't allow custom fonts nor images, and it makes it super complicated to customize it corporativelly.

Would love this feature as well. I have a great Interface designed right now for our team that is a sales and marketing CRM. Having a better formulated logo on the company pages will help with efficiency and accurate when working with the data and be a quick visual conformation you are working with the right record.

Any update on this feature being added? Creating a separate table and using the attachment option is a really poor way of attempting to make the interface more engaging.

This is a great idea and would increase the value of Airtable a lot

This would be huge.

Yes this is a must have for internal/external customer facing applications (interfaces)

Please make this happen.

Ditto on this request! We want to be able to use the invoice generated in our interface by just printing them to PDF, but currently because we cannot add a logo we have to create a separate invoice in another software, which is tedious and time consuming and boring - all the things Airtable helps us to avoid in so many other areas!
