Has anyone else run into this?I recently split some automations into a second connected base because I was running out of automation space/organisation in the original base.The setup now looks roughly like:Base A = operational/source base Base B = synced/helper automation base Slack notifications now trigger from Base BEver since doing this, Slack notifications have become inconsistent or delayed.What’s weird is:the automations often seem to trigger only after I manually open Base B again.The difficult part is that sometimes it works completely fine for hours/days, and then other times we start getting internal reports that Slack notifications aren’t triggering at all.So operationally it’s become hard to trust because the behaviour feels inconsistent rather than fully broken.It feels like:synced tables aren’t refreshing consistently or automations in inactive bases aren’t

I want to create a signable form using some fields from my base. I want to insert an image at the top of the form, then a bunch of text from a .doc, then the signature field. How do I do that and what level of subscriptin do I need. I’m currently on free. This form will be sent to 28 unique email addresses.

Hi, this is the first time I experience this issue first hand, but out of the sudden all attachment added using a Google drive link via API to my Airtable record gets removed inmediately after being added. It was working alright , but it suddenly stopped working.  I know this is a well known bug in Airtable but could not find any updates. Files are sep with with open sharing and download rights in Google Drive, I an sending the export link in PDF to airtable and it was working currently until it stoppedworking 

I am utilizing the reminder feature in Airtable for the first time. I’ve created a few “test” CRM’s to see how the feature would work for me. Out of 5 “test” CRM’s, only 1 gave me the info I needed. I have attached a picture of what I want vs. what I’m getting. Any idea why one would work and the others do not?  

Using an automation to assign a part number to any part who does not have a part number. Since this database is needing to retroactively run this script one at a time due it is nature of how it assigns part numbers. The best way to do this is to have the script run once, then identify the next record this script needs to run on (next record without a part number) and run again.However as it stands, the second automation run will not happen even when the conditions of the second record are changes to meet the conditions of the automation.Is this a known bug/limitation of airtable automations?

I have two tables:InvoicesTime Invoices has a project, start date and end date.Time has a project, start date and hours. I’m trying to find all the time records between the Invoice start and end dates for a project and assign them to the invoice. But when I try to find the time AT only allows static choices, not dynamic. How can I make this work?

I’m planning an Airtable base for tracking search result data over time and would like to sanity-check the structure.The use case is keyword and competitor monitoring. An external API would return search results on a schedule, and I want to store each result with fields like query, search engine, date checked, position, title, URL, domain, and snippet.My first thought is to have one table for keywords and another table for SERP results, with each result linked back to the keyword record.For context, I work on TalorData, a Search API for SERP data, so I’m trying to understand the cleanest way people store recurring search result data in Airtable.For people who have built similar recurring data workflows, would you store each search result as a separate record, or store one full search result page as JSON in a single record?I’m leaning toward separate records because it seems easier to filter by domain, position, and date, but I’m not sure if that be

Hi!I need to track attendance for different cohorts put on throughout the year. Each cohort has multiple sessions and multiple attendees. When attendees are linked to a cohort, I would like to automatically create attendance records for every session linked to that cohort. Attendance statuses will be updated manually later. I am having trouble setting up the looping automation. I have never set one up before and I am getting stuck. Be careful updating field types!I have a few automations that watch a field for updates to set a field-last-updated timestamp. I discovered that if you change the field type of a watched field from multi-user to single-user, if there is data in the field, it will consider the field “updated” and trigger the automation.This is not documented anywhere that I could find!  And it messed up my timestamps 😑  

I have created an email automation thats pulling the information from our grid view. But how do I get this to go full screen as its only taking up the left side of the email.I have checked other email notification and it takes up the full screen but it looks like everything I’ve done is matched correctly. 

Hi, I’m being asked to reseach wether its possible to sync filenames and links to files in a Sharepoint document library to an Airtable project.  It need to only sync filenames NOT the actual data.  Does anyone know if this is feasible?Thanks

Hi everyone! I hope I explain this correctly since I’m not an Airtable guru. I created an Airtable automation with Gmail and completed a project yesterday. I want the client to receive an automated email confirming completion of the project today. Images of configuration and results are attached, but the email hasn’t been sent yet. I assumed it would have been sent by now and it hasn’t. I’m CST and currently it’s 10:55am. Am I missing anything?  

Hello!I’ve been wracking my brain trying to figure this out - can anybody help?In my base, I have a main table named “Contacts” in which there’s a single select column for “Category” (stylist, producer etc...)I then have a table for each of these Categories with more info to add there.In those tables, I have added a Linked Record column to take the name from the main contacts table, with a condition:“Filter record selection by a conditionwhere all of the following condition is trueWhereCategoryisStylist” Even with that condition, it’s still pulling the info for all contacts. I even tried to filter by view, to no avail with the same result. Has anyone faced this before?

I have three Tables. - Commit Items, Invoice Header, and Invoice Detail. Lets assume that For Commit No ACB001 there are 4 Records in Commit Items Table with many records for other Commit Nos.. When the invoice is received for Commit No ABC001 and entered on Invoice Header table with Invoice No and Commit No ABC001, I would like automation to grab four records from Commit Items table and create those 4 records + Invoice number in Invoice Detail table. How do I achieve this? Just a reminder, I am new to AirTable.

Hi guys,I’m building a CRM within Airtable and need to create a two-way sync between Airtable and Google Calendar so if an event is created/updated/deleted in one, it automatically updates in the other. This is the current setup I have: A separate ‘Meetings’ table for events created within Airtable and a separate table that’s integrated with the Google Calendar (on the interface, it will all just be one calendar). I am trying to create an “Update Record” automation so if an event is updated in Airtable, it updates in Google Calendar but I’m running into some issues and with the vice-versa automation.The trigger runs successfully but the action always fails:

Hey Airtable Community!First time community user so please be kind! I work for an Event Production company, we are beginning to explore the possibility on switching to airtable.  We currently use an Edoc software called Pandadocs for our proposal writing.I am trying to figure out the possibility of when Documet completed → Airtable duplicates a prebuilt base and then takes the pricing table information in the doc and pushes it into each table accordingly.I will admit there is still a lot of details still up in the air, such as what is a table and what is a view? But I am focused on how mechanically I can make that kind of automation and what guardrails I should look out for? 

I’ve been building a workflow that connects Airtable to a CMS so blog content can move from planning to publishing with less manual work.The setup usually includes title, slug, content, images, publish date, and status fields, plus a draft/review/publish flow.I’m curious how others here manage content operations: do you keep Airtable as the source of truth, or do you use it only for planning?Happy to share the structure I use if anyone is trying to reduce manual blog publishing work.

Hey all, figured I’d ask this question and see if anyone has advice/experience, plus it’s been awhile since an Outlook integration thread in case of application changes…So I’ve got an active automation setup integrated with an Outlook calendar wherein people submit tickets and dates, and when a date is created an automation fires to create an Outlook event, with the Outlook ID written into the record for reference. Then when certain conditions are met, another automation fires to update the Outlook Calendar event by referencing the ID. For the most part (like 97% of the time) this works fine, but I’m having a devil of a time on that last 3%. Some of this is accountable to people using the data layer and fulfilling update conditions at creation, those are able to be rectified. I have created a “Release Planner” base in Airtable for coordinating all the steps we have to complete for a software release. I created one table called ‘Template”, and I copy that template to a new table for each release.Now, I want to set up automations to notify me and the assigned to person daily while any task is open, across all tables. I seem only to have been able to set it up on one, but then it doesn’t copy over when I copy the template to a new table. And I can’t seem to set it up the right way every time, plus it’s time consuming. Does anyone have a hack for creating a base-wide notification? Or a way to copy automations across tables?Happy to do scripting, but I would need detailed instructions, as I haven’t done that in Airtable before.Thank you!

Hi all, I am running into a challenge again related to automations and multiple select fields. I have a table where locations are input as “city, province” (I live in Canada). For example, “Toronto, ON”. When a record is approved, an automation kicks in and has to populate the location field in another table. The problem is that when I assign the location field in the 2nd table as a multiple select, the automation splits the city and province (“Toronto”, “ON”). I tried making the location field in the 2nd table as a single line text but still the problem exists. I have spent so much time trying to figure this out but am unable to.
