I’m building up a base for my team. We have many workflows/processes that occur throughout the year and I want to track them, so our team stays on track and have ownership. I’m starting with one workflow but I’m running into an issue where my workflow tasks aren’t getting automated correctly when it runs for the month. My base is currently set up with People, Tasks, Projects, Process Templates (Where our workflows are held), Task Templates (where I would like the tasks that are associated with the processes held), Runs (when this workflow occurs), and then Workflow Tasks (where the team would edit and keep track of their tasks associated with this workflow).Two Things:1. When my automation runs, its supposed to populate all 7 tasks into the Workflow Tasks so that the team can start tracking them. However its only pulling up 1 out of the 7 tasks even though my Find Record is showing all 7 Tasks. I have it repeated and for it to create a r

I have an Automation that sends an email when conditions are met that includes Update Record link for Fillout. However the link is emailed as a text field - e.g.  https://forms.fillout.com/t/zzzz?id=xxxxHow do I modify so it sends as a clickable link.I have tried  "<a href='" & {Your Formula URL} & "'>Open link</a>"  and it did not work.

My automation is simple: When a form is submitted → Generate structured data.The confusing part: when I select the Attachments field as the input, Airtable only lets me choose attachment properties like URL / Filename / Size / Type / Attachment Viewer URL / Expiring Download URL (see screenshot). The idea is to create a base where: each day’s puzzle layout is stored, community submissions (solutions) are logged, performance (time/words/points) can be tracked, and users can filter or sort challenges by difficulty or date. We use Airtable to manage trailer rentals and insurance compliance. Customers periodically upload updated Certificates of Insurance (COIs), and we need to retain all past COIs for audit and compliance purposes. The issue is that Airtable automations overwrite attachment fields when updating records. When a new COI is uploaded, it replaces the previous file, which causes us to lose historical documents.What we want is for a “Misc Attachments” field to act as an archive, where: Any new file added to the COI field is copied into Misc Attachments Existing files in Misc Attachments are preserved No previously uploaded documents are deleted Requirements: Both fields are attachment fields in the same table The process should be automatic (triggered when a COI is added) The archive m

I have a database that is used to record the status change of projects and I need help with my automation. Currently I have an automation set up that is triggered when a record is updated (watching the “status” field); then it creates a record on my Change Log Table. I want it to record the “old” status and the “new” status in a field, along with the date the change was made and the user who made it. I am having trouble setting this up, can anyone help? We are looking for Airtable to help automate our Onboarding process.  It seems like it sends a blank email whereas we want a calendar invite they can click accept and it be inserted into their calendar.  Then we also tried Google meetings to get this working but it only works with 1 user.  Once you add more than 1 person it will not send a calendar invite.  Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi guys, I’m looking to add an automation which assigns an 'issue number' when a new issue is recorded in my AirTable, either by intake form or manually adding in a new line. Goal: To update records in my base table when changes are made to an existing meeting notes document or a new meeting notes is saved. I’d like to review the changes so I can approve or reject any changes before the records are updated in Airtable.Situation: I currently have my meeting notes saved in Google Drive which n turn is  synced to my base in Airtable. Hi guys, hoping you can help me out here. I have ‘Table A’ which is used for collecting issues. I have ‘Table B’ that will be used to track the work being done to resolve the issues from Table A. I’m looking for a way to automatically populate predefined data fields from Table A into Table B when you put a ‘tick’ in Table A.For example: If I have Issue 1, Issue 2 and Issue 3 in Table A and I put a ‘tick’ on Issue 2, I want the predefined fields from Table A to then automatically populate in Table B. Any help you’re able to give would be greatly appreciated   

Hey everyone, I’ve been using Airtable for a bit now and I love how flexible it is, but I keep running into issues when it comes to forms. Whenever I need a form with conditional formatting, multi-step process, or really anything that goes beyond a “submit once” form. Are there any good tools/workarounds that could achieve this?

Hello Airtable Friends!! I am trying to send automations to emails, but my automation field is not loving any of the formats I am using to store the email. I’ve got a lookup field, I’ve got a rollup field, I’ve got a formula field to put the lookup field into, and nothing!!! Can someone please point to where I’m going wrong?For some (maybe?) useful background: these fields are connected to one that is “limited to last 1”, so I only see who checked out a piece of equipment most recently, the original emails are synced from another base, and I select the field name in the drop down list so the “Field ID” keeps coming up, regardless of which field I select (the ID’s vary, though).

I have setup an automation so when someone emails a purchase request, it makes a record and notifies me in Airtable, however it doesn’t look like there is away to email an attachment and have it populate the attachment field. Is this possible?

Can anyone help me with my weekly automation to make sure all of my products from my latest product list are listed in all tables? Edit after ~1h of investigation: it turns out these are rate limits that are the culprit. Which raises a new question: if I change the email address in the automation, will it impact the runs that are currently in progress? My guess is no. And so, if no, is there any way to trigger a re-run of the currently stuck runs?  I several automations running that involve sending emails. They have both run over 6k times until yesterday around 8pm many runs are stuck in “pending”. There are several things puzzling about it:There isn’t a clear cut off when the automations started getting stuck.
