Hello the community,I want to write a script which will read the data from a csv file which is in the attachment field "doc"  in the table "fileImport"The csv has 4 columns:Nom,Ligne,Jour,Valeurhere is an example of the data:Nom,Ligne,Jour,Valeur Bornet Marc,AL / ASD,2024-04-01,2Doe John 85%,AL / ASD,2024-04-01,17I want to parse all data and to create/update/delete records in the table "Planning" and writing the data in the appropriate field:Nom,Ligne,Jour,SV how can I do such a script 

I have an automation that 1st Finds Records from a table then Inserts the Found Grid into an Email. I have static Emails and also want to Use Emails from the Found Records.  If all the Found Records Emails match is there a way to just add 1 instead of it putting in multiple identical Emails in the To:I imagine maybe a script but do not know how to write those. Bull

Hello, I have built a table with links to spotify, Instagram, twitter and tik tok and I also include the number of followers of each of the artists in the table. I update this data by hand and I would like to know if there is a way to automate this update or to do it on demand for a previously selected group of artists. Thank you!

When I first started working on this automation script, Airtable presented a list of records to choose as the input for running tests. That was all fine.Later on, I deleted that record, and now the script is failing because the record doesn’t exist. But I don’t see any UI for changing or selecting a new record to use for the test input.Is that not possible?  

I’m trying to build an automation so that if I put ‘Regular’ in the ‘type’ column in the bookings table it will automatically populate the ‘populate issues’ column in the same table with all the entries in a list (‘issue date’) from the ‘Issues’ table. I can’t work out how to build this automation and get a ‘Received invalid inputs’ error. Can anyone help? 

Hi everyone 👋I’m importing data into Airtable, and one of the fields arrives as a JSON array that looks like this:[ { "key": "Label", "value": "Sample A" }, { "key": "Code", "value": "0716" }, { "key": "Category", "value": "Lotus" }]Instead of showing the raw JSON, I’d like the field to display something more readable, for example:Label: Sample ACode: 0716Category: LotusI tried changing the field type and using simple formulas, but it still shows the full JSON array.Has anyone done this before?Is there a formula, script, or automation that can parse this JSON?Any suggestions would be really helpful, thank you! 

I have two separate bases. When a form is submitted in base1, a record is created. When a specific record matches a condition, i want to use an automation to create a record in base2.Ive tried using the sync feature in the data layer, which appears to pull base2 data layer into base1 data layer but when i go to the automation, the table I want to create a new record in is there, but is greyed out and cant be selected. I went through permissions with someone from airtable, but we still can’t figure out what the issue is. This is from the automationIn the table field i can see the table i want to create a new record in, but it is not selectable. IN the data layer, it is listed as grid view   

Is it possible to change the sent from email, from the default of automations@airtableemail.com to something of our choice? Or by a per project basis?

I want to update a record when a field condition is met, and currently the “Update Record” automation only seems to use any value/change to the field. What I am trying to do when the “Status” field is updated, and ONLY when it’s Value is changed to “Used” do I want to execute the update. Right now when the value is changed from Used to Unused, it runs the automation. Any guide on what combination of actions I can use to do this?

Hi everyone —I’ve built an automation that:1️⃣ Triggers when a Project Overview record enters a view2️⃣ Creates a related record in Prelims Summary (Client Breakdown)3️⃣ Updates the original Project Overview record to link back to that new recordEverything works — the link is created — but in the run log, the Linked Prelims (NEW) field shows two entries: ["rechvSfKKM3dFqypl"] ✅ (green — works) "rechvSfKKM3dFqypl" ❌ (red — literal string) I’m currently setting the linked record field value in the Update Record step as: ["Airtable record ID"] (using the dynamic variable from the Create Record step with the “+” button).Is this expected, or should only the array appear?Could something in the input mapping or type conversion be causing the duplicate string entry?Any insight from others who’ve built dynamic link automations like this would be great — thanks!

Hi all,I have 2 connected fillout quizzes.The first is set to create a record, which is working fine.In the end screen, I have a URL button linking to the next quiz.The second quiz is set to update a record, but in the results, it creates a new record.I add an ID in the URL parameter for both quizzes.Where do I go wrong, or what am I missing in the process?

Hi! I’ve tried a few different ways of doing this and can’t seem to figure it out. I’m importing some data into a new base and there’s a field that has update notes on different lines all formatted the same. I’d love to figure out an automation to add each line to a linked table as separate updates connected to the parent field. I am doing a hiring and searching for jobs database. I have made the form for everyone involved but would like for them to be able to change their availability status after having submitted the form. Is that possible? I haven‘t upgraded my subscription, I am still using the free version. I am new in airtable, still trying to figure it out if it is the answer for what I am looking for before I start paying. 

Okay, looking for brainstorms/solutions. I use Go High Level for almost all of my business management. The one area where I struggle mightily to rely on GHL is calendars. So, I'm implementing Airtable. All my events. All in one place. Folks can register for more than one at a time. GLORIOUS. Until I want to send confirmation emails & reminder emails/texts. I'm trying to decide whether it's easier to do that communication through Airtable and then send it over to GHL for record keeping, OR....whether to send registration info to GHL and then handle all confirmations/reminders from there. I need easy/medium difficulty (with Chat GPT assistance!) to create and reliable replication as we grow. Suggestions????

Hello! I have a table which is sort of like a job application portal for our company. We have a google form which is filled along with roles and role specific questions which then we bring into airtable for screening. Now we wish to have a technical round (Round 1) which is through a seperate google form. I wanted help to get the score from the google form/google sheet into this application portal. As i understand there will be separate source data for the application form and for the Round 1 evaluation form (Seperate google sheets). Hence there might need to be some automation required to be able to match the data of both the sources and add it to the same table. I intend to use the email ID as the matching parameters since the forms are filled using google accounts.

’ve created four tables. Clients is the master table. New submissions from my intake form go straight into Clients.The other three tables are Service_1, Service_2, and Service_3. When I deliver, say, Service 1 to someone who already exists in Clients, I want to link that service record to the existing client—not just type their name again.Concretely: if I start a new record in Service_1 and type “John Doe,” I want that entry to reference the same John Doe in the Clients table, so I can pull his saved info (email, phone, notes) via lookups—rather than duplicating data.What’s the best way to do this?

Hi, I feel this is a tough one and I would like to have some help to figure out where to start.I have a table of contacts and I want to send batch html emails to some of them only, depending on conditions, eg by country. It would also like to populate those emails with data coming from the contacts records, but also from other tables depending on what those batch emails will be about.Here’s a simplified example of what I need. One day I may need to send information about project A (from a “project” table) to my contacts in Canada. A week later I may need to send information about project B to my contacts in England.How would you do something like that? I expect I will need to use some sort of extension like Make, or maybe sendgrid? And maybe some sort of “Campaign” table, and automations?Thanks all for the help!

The main goal is simple: we need to merge the results of 25+ different assessment outcomes (Core Prompts) into a single Linked Record field on our final tracking table. Basically, we need the system to reliably weld 25 lists of IDs into one final master list. -Our Automation Setup  Structure: We have 25+ independent Automations, each dedicated to one Core Prompt (e.g., "Pain," "Swallowing"). Trigger: All 25+ Automations are set to trigger at the same time when a new assessment record is created. Action Flow: Each Automation executes a quick sequence: △Action 1 (Find): Finds all related Care Problem records based on a Formula field value (the core prompt name). △Action 2 (Write): Executes an Update Record to append the found list of Problem IDs to the target record.-Observed Problems & Failure ModesThe concurrent writing of data by the 25+ Automations is causing severe data integri

This is kind of complicated and I’m not sure if it will be possible, but here goes. I’m trying to automate data entry for each record I create in my Project table. What I have set up now is a Long Text field called “Paste” where I paste the contents of an email, and several field agents that comb through the text of that email to fill out fields like Project Name, Project Type, Notes, etc. Each email contains the name of several people associated with the project’s production team: directors, writers, and producers. I have a separate table that is a Master Contact List of all the names that have ever been entered, and in my main Project table, I have a linked field called Production Team that links to the Master Contact List. Multiple linked records are allowed so that multiple people can be logged in that field in the Project table. Right now, I have to manually enter all the names. I would love for a field agent to be able to do this for me, but it would require several steps. First,

I am new to Airtable and need help or confidence about the process. I have created two interfaces, an intake form and a directory to organize  the data collected from the form. I am unsure of how the form data populates the directory. Am I missing something?Thank you to all who reply.

Hey, I’m trying to achieve a scheduled reminder for the people assigned to the records. I have the whole logic defined, but it looks like the simplest solution of using “Actionable message” within “repeat for each” within the list doesn’t work (as Actionable message is waiting for action before moving forward).  Any other ideas on how to approach it in an easy and clean way without adding extra fields in the database?Also, Airtable Team, it would be awesome if this could be actually improved on your end if possible :)
