Hi! Does anyone have any recommendations on how to continuously import contacts from Mailchimp into Airtable without using a third party (i.e. Zapier)?

I recommend using Make to do this because it is a low-code/no-code automation tool that is cheaper yet more powerful than Zapier.

However, if you don’t want to use Make or Zapier, you could:

  1. Manually export/import your records.
  2. Use the Data Fetcher extension.
  3. Write your own custom JavaScripts.

Hope this helps! If you’d like to hire the best Airtable consultant to help you with anything Airtable-related, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant — ScottWorld

A bit late to the party, but we've built a platform, Syncgrip, that will allow you to continuously sync your contacts between Airtable and Mailchimp in real-time.

Yes, it is a third-party app but it's very streamlined - will literally take you <5mins to setup.

Here's a short demo of it in action: https://youtu.be/fxegMUymY_E?t=1815 (taken from a recent appearance on the BuiltOnAir podcast to showcase Syncgrip)

Hey!
One way you could approach it is by using Mailchimp’s API along with Airtable’s API to set up a custom integration. It would take a bit of coding, but it gives you full control without relying on third-party tools like Zapier. If you’re not into coding, another option might be setting up scheduled CSV exports from Mailchimp and importing them manually into Airtable. Not fully automatic, but still pretty manageable!

Hope that helps a little!
