Hi all! I am wondering how one might create fully dynamic filtering of linked records in a single field in a conditional form in Softr.My boss had designed a database for a client with separate fields for different linked records for different user attributes. For example, we had a user attributes table that spanned age range, income, demographics, etc. To make each option in these categories show up only for specific fields, he disaggregated them into their own fields on a user, allowing an individual to use Softr and make selections exclusive to the attribute type. For example, salary ranges would only show up in the income field, racial information on demographics, etc.Now, we want to move all the attributes into one field and filter by the attribute type, so have all the options in one field and have it look into the linked record to filter by category. 30-40k (category: income level) next to Asian American (category: demographics) next to Works in service category

Hello, I have a Airtable Table that sorts different records by release date. I want to be able to manually re-order the different records that have the same release date (as many of them do) but for some reason I can't figure out how to do that? I've tried to turn off automatic sorting and then manually re-arrange my records but as soon as I turn automatic sorting back on, it overwrites my changes. Anybody got a fix or insight for this?

I’ve built a database of grants and funding opportunities, and a survey that asks users the questions to determine their eligibility for the various grants. I have a table that lists the grants and how the various questions have to be answered to determine eligibility. I’d like to create a table that populates which grants a survey respondent is eligible for when a survey response is submitted. How would I go about doing that? My first thought is that it would be a formula, ie if Survey Q1=X, Survey Q2= Y and Survey Q3 = Z, Awesome Grant = Eligible, Awesome Grant = Not Eligible. But Airtable doesn’t allow formulas across tables. Then I thought an automation, or a junction table, but neither of these seem to be the answer when I dig deeper. So, rather than struggle for another couple of days, help?

My team recently inherited responsibly for the admin of an 850 seat Airtable enterprise license.We’re not an IT team; we’re just enthusiastic end users of Airtable, so we’re new to being admins.My question: is it possible to determine who gave out an editor license?When I go into the admin panel and hover over someone who was just upgraded, I get messages like:“[user name] was Editor on base [base name] on [date]” “[user name] was Creator on base [base name] on [date]” “[user name] made edits to workspace [workspace name] on [date]Is this telling me their last activity in Airtable?Is there a way to figure out who gave out the editor license they’re using?Thanks

I’m trying to create a form with múltiple tables, I have a table “Responses” that contains fields directly linked to the form, and i have a table “Sectors”, representing the sector that corresponds to that specific response (I have multiple other tables, but it’s not particularly relevant for this question”)When I want to manually add a Sector to a Response, it shows all responses and fields linked to this Sector (image for reference). I would like to know if its posible to just have the name showing, just like if it was a multiple selection field.Disclaimer: I cant use third party options like fillout. Currently:What i want:  

When I use the search extension in Airtable, it works well for finding a record. However, when I click on a record, it shows me the fields, but I would like to be able to edit them. I have a view that is very well organized, and I was hoping to see the record displayed according to that field arrangement, but unfortunately, I haven't found a way to do this.My goal is to quickly search for a record and, upon clicking it, display the specific information I need. So far, I haven't been able to organize the displayed information in the way I want.

I’m looking for help with integrations: My nonprofit uses Airtable heavily to track lists of people and their contact information. We also use MailChimp to send out updates to our partners, newsletter subscribers, etc. using that contact information. My question is this: Is there a simple way to establish a “Two-Way Sync” between Airtable and MailChimp so that they will always contain the same data, regardless of changes made on either side? I need a true “sync” that will: Update MailChimp with any changes entered in Airtable (add, remove, edit), and Update Airtable with any changes entered in MailChimp (subscribe, remove, edit). I’d rather pay a small fee per month for an established app to do this than build it in Zapier/Make, but either way is fine if it works. TIA, M p.s. Team, subscribed to Airtable a month back. Created a workspace called “Rohit”, created two bases - “Sales Pipeline” and “Open item tracker”. Now Sales Pipeline base is completely gone. Can’t find anything. Was working on other things like importing data, building AI etc for a large excel database i have. But pls advise how can i retrieve my base “Sales Pipeline”

Was adding leads to a dbase and chugging along. Next thing I know, AirTable stops accepting any inputs. Checked my wifi, logged out and back in. Anyone have a similar issue? Any suggestions, tips or hints would be welcomed.

Recently I have noticed that the more compact menu that is displayed when a record is clicked in calendar view seems to have reduced functionality. Specifically, I can no longer edit fields from that menu and ‘multiple select’ fields seem to not allow for options being chosen from that menu anymore. However, when you click to expand that record view, everything works as its supposed to. The photo I have attached points out what I am referring to.   I have tried this with multiple records, newly created records, different fields, and I have already closed and reopened Airtable. Any help or insight is greatly appreciated!

Is there a way to prevent people from making edits, or self-upgrading their account from a Viewer to an Editor? I am on Enterprise Scale and constantly have to check to make sure people arent self-upgrading to Editor and thus taking away seats, or using seats we do not have available.One solution I found was to make everyone only an editor, but then they cant configure or modify the base which means I, or my team, would have to configure their base for them which we cannot support. Has anyone here found a solution for this? Seems kind of silly that there isnt a setting within the Admin panel to prevent this from happening.

Many enterprise security policies require applications to timeout after a period of inactivity. Airtable currently doesn’t provide this functionaly; instead it offers a fixed web session length.Enabling this means Airtable users get logged out in the middle of their work (they could be presenting, in the middle of updating a formula, or deep in analysis). If you’re using the Airtable app and have multiple windows open, all of your Airtable windows close out when you log in again.Please update this feature to align to other SaaS products - thanks!

We have recently experienced some issues with read-only share links access.  It appears a user must have an account in Airtable to access a read-only share link.  Is this the case?

We are stating to use portals - and we have our internal Jira linked with automatic status updates. The external clients with access to the portals want to do the same with their Jiras. Any ideas on how to make this work?

Hello,I'm building a new business (creating adult study abroad programs, targeted at the US market) and using Airtable for product management and CRM. I had initially planned to use Mailchimp, via a Make integration, for both marketing and transactional emails, but I have hit a wall importing my initial contact list from Airtable into Mailchimp. I am not a developer and Mailchimp support has been confoundingly bad (2 weeks of effective radio silence, then 3 days of denying that their platform integrates with Make), so Mailchimp and I are going to have to part ways.I am looking for recommendations for a marketing email platform that I can integrate with Airtable - either directly or via Make - without needing to code. Does this exist? I have read on other posts here that Sendgrid integrates directly...but I don't know if this is the best solution. Is this possible? I have multiple views which I use, but not all information needs to be displayed when I add a record through a linked record. Right now, it seems whatever view is at the top of the list in a table is the one that shows up when a linked record is used.

Hi -I need to collect data on the number of projects per month that change from “potential” to “launched”. We currently have this field set up as a single select drop down that we manually update once the project status changes. I am assuming in order to track this I will need to add a time stamp or something to the changes being made? Or can an automation do this? We need to track over the entire year the total number of product status changes, but I am unsure how to collect this info. Maybe a monthly report that gets emailed to me showing the changes that I can then tally?Appreciate any help/ideas! Thank you!

I'm trying to reorder the fields in one of my tables so that when viewing them via a linked record, they are organised in relation to how we use them.It's my understanding that to do this, you need to reorder the fields via the first view that was created in that table. I guess that view is essential the 'master view' in that table.I've been successful at doing this for several tables already, but only by coincidence. Upon deleting some views in the other tables, a view that was only accessible by another user would appear in the view list. I was able to select the view to see the content but couldn't make any changes as it was locked to that user. I reached out to them and they changed it to a collaborative view, where I then reordered the fields and they showed correctly when looking at the linked record from another table. I've tried doing that on the table where I'd like to reorder the fields, but no extra views are showing up. A personal project I am working on is to create a curated list of job roles scraped from the likes of LinkedIn and other places. Specifically, Product Operations (I will say for anyone reading - this is NOT for me, but to support my community who are looking for roles). I am using my Samsung S22 Ultra running One UI version 8.0, android version 16 software. Hardware version REV1.0 Airtable app was last updated dec 3 version 6.40.0 I am taking pictures with my mobile device directly through the attachments field in each record.  I have tried using my mobile connection and Wi-Fi connection to see if one is better than the other, but the same issue happens regardless of my connection. logging out of the app, restarting the phone, uninstall and reinstall, tried all of that! I even tried all of those things in a row but still no success. I am able to take one picture after a phone restart, but that is not guaranteed each time.  I am able to upload images from my own photo gallery on my mobile device one at a time. Also able to upload several images at a time by pc on a web browser. neither of these options is time efficient for me at all and I have had to completely change my already delicately tim
