I know this functionality exists because it was something they were doing at my last job.I have table that tracks applications and their status’ what I need is the method to turn that into a web form someone can to to our website to fill out so it populates into my table. How do I do this?
I'm curious how others are using Airtable to manage property maintenance and repair requests. For businesses that handle maintenance work, keeping track of service requests, technician assignments, job status, invoices, and customer communication can quickly become difficult without a structured system.I've been exploring whether Airtable can be used to create a centralized workflow that tracks: Incoming maintenance requests Priority levels (urgent, standard, scheduled) Technician assignments Job progress updates Customer contact information Invoices and payment status For example, businesses that provide services such as emergency plumbing Baltimore often need to respond quickly while keeping records organized and accessible.Has anyone built an Airtable solution for property maintenance, facility management, or repair-request tracking? I'd be interested to hear what tables, automations, or interfaces have worked best for you.
Hey. Thank you in advance or your help on connecting data between two tables. Linked records does not seem to apply here, but maybe I’m missing something. I am using Airtable to track disciplinary data for a school. We have two tables, one to track Pink Slips, and a second to track historical Disciplinary Cases. The first table “Pink Slips”, is where new pink slips are entered, using a primary field of a sequential ID assigned by Airtable for each new pink slip. One of the fields in this table is “Student ID”. The second table, “Cases” contains a historical record of all disciplinary cases (some resulting from pink slips), akin to a court case, with all data related to the resulting actions, dates, etc… The primary field in this table is “CaseID”. All of the data in the “Cases” table is imported from a school database, and also contains a “StudentID” field. For reasons that i would rather not get into, the two tables cannot be merged into one. As/after the admin enters new pink sl
Embedding an airtable into my website was working fine as of May 31, 2026. Now my customers are telling me they are receiving internal server errors and cannot see my calendar data. Is there a support issue going on about this? I have submitted a ticket, but no one has responded for several hours now.
Many enterprise security policies require applications to timeout after a period of inactivity. Airtable currently doesn’t provide this functionaly; instead it offers a fixed web session length.Enabling this means Airtable users get logged out in the middle of their work (they could be presenting, in the middle of updating a formula, or deep in analysis). If you’re using the Airtable app and have multiple windows open, all of your Airtable windows close out when you log in again. Please update this feature to align to other SaaS products - thanks!
Can I submit an article on airtable’s blog?
Hi,I’m looking at migrating some Airtable automations to Make, due to getting close to the 50 limit and seeking some more power. However, I found out that Make doesn’t have a “When record matches condition” trigger for Airtable, which I use quite a lot. What is the recommended workaround for this? Is it to watch for any/specific updates to a record, then use conditional filtering like in Zapier to continue just for those events that match the criteria?Any best practices or tips to share? What modules should I look at employing? Quite new to Make, so any input is much appreciated.Cheers,BjörnPS. I’d very much prefer not to have to create and maintain an Airtable view for this, which seems to be a requirement for at least the “Watch records” module.
Hi all, we’ve been on the legacy Enterprise plan, and our rep just told us they are no longer allowing modifications to the legacy plan so we’ll need to switch to the new licensing models. I don’t think we need the Enterprise plan, but she warned us that we might lose some functions if we downgrade to the Business plan. We checked record limits so understand we might need to delete records in 2 of our major bases. Other than that, I can’t tell what “functions” we might lose. We only have 26 users and most are not builders, but we use it heavily.Has anyone done this and had a good/bad experience? The comparison documentation isn’t the clearest. Is the “Apps Library” worth it? I can’t even tell if we currently have access to it.
Hi everyone,I'm having an issue with group sorting in a Grid view. I have two tables: Murals and Announcements. The Announcements table has a linked record field pointing to Murals, and my view is grouped by that linked field. The problem: When I set "Order groups by" to any date-based field (lookup or formula), the groups don't sort correctly by date. The groups seem to ignore the sorting criteria entirely. What I've tried:Using a Lookup field (type Date) from the Murals table as sort criteria Creating a Formula field with DATETIME_FORMAT({FECHA INICIO (de Mural)}, 'YYYYMMDD') and sorting by that Renaming the Mural records so the name starts with the date in YYYYMMDD format and sorting alphabetically A→Z Sorting by the Mural name field A→ZNone of these approaches work. The groups always appear in the wrong order regardless of the sorting configuration.Expected behavior: Groups should sort by the start date of the linked Mural record.Question: Is there any reliable way to sort groups by
Hello!Just as the title, I am not Airtable partner, can I organize an event in my city (Spain)? Just to introduce the tool and look for potential clients.I have been looking for this info everywhere since last night and even sent an email to Airtable which was replied by an AI avatar… If anyone can help clarify this I appreciate it. 🙏Thanks!
Hello, I am trying to use the CSV import extension to create records. These records have a linked field to another record. I am trying to populate the linked field via the CSV file, but I cannot seem to make it work. I am attempting to create new records, not “merge” records. Two immediate issues:On the mapping preview, the linked field does not appear in the record creation preview, even when the toggle is on. If I could get it to appear, I am not sure what info Airtable wants me to upload to successfully link the record. I tried the RecordID (pulled from the URL per Airtable’s guide) but that didn’t work. There has to be a way to populate linked record fields via a CSV upload? Can someone help! Thanks!!Alex
Hello, 2 of us use our airtable1 english speaking accesing via PC and Android phone App, the other Thai speaking accesing via Android phone app Thank you
Hi All, I’m Dheeraj Sudan from the UK. I’m a software developer and also run a business with my wife Meenu Hinduja. Now, I am working with multiple linked tables and complex automations in Airtable for project tracking and reporting. As the database grows, performance becomes slower and some automations fail unexpectedly. What are the best strategies for optimizing linked records, improving automation reliability, and maintaining database efficiency? Thanks & regards,Meenu Hinduja & Dheeraj Sudan
Any plans to allow the admins to adjust the user data fields similar to how the bases are configured with the ability to select and hide/delete fields we want to see by users depending on the use case? Or use a field selection similar to Service Now’s field selection? Currently what I see on the Admin panel is very limited and I don’t see the ability to adjust (add or delete)
The recent mobile update killed my dashboard. I use an iPhone 17 Pro running iOS 26.5. My dashboard looks right, but I no longer can drill down into the underlying data in the tiles. It works perfectly on my laptop just not the mobile. when I click on the tile I just get an empty box instead of the data on my phone. I put in a support ticket but I need to be able to access this on my phone as I'm in the middle of finalizing sales. Was just getting ready to upgrade to paid account then this happened. They said since it still works on my laptop that it isn't the free vs paid account issue. anyone else having problems?
Hi All, A couple of weeks ago, we were provided with a quote from sales for the enterrprise edition so we could have our data stored in Europe. After telling them that we’d go ahead with the subscription, the sales person told me that they now needed to get approval. Over one week later, i am still waiting for this approval. I find it very strange. Has anyone else had this issue? What i don’t understand is why they would give a quote and at not have approval for it?
Hello,We are using a script that runs in the Scripting extension - it was developed by a consultant and has been working 100% for many years, so I hesitate to touch it. But now, I have a new requirement that this button can only be clicked if a specific checkbox field has been checked. How can I limit this button to match my new trigger? Thanks in advance - scripting is definitely not my forte.
Hi community, When exporting a table view to csv, I am having rows get broken up and put on different lines. In the example, in AT, Row 26 is one line. When exported to CSV, the row breaks off at a certain field and goes to the next line. I have tried the download using the web app as well as the desktop app, and opening the csv in Excel and numbers, and get the same problem every time. Any ideas what is happening here? I can’t see any weird formatting in AT that could be making this happen.
They seem to be permanent. Don’t see any “remove” option?
Hi,I currently use Airtable as an HR system. I’d like to build an admin dashboard to monitor data completeness, to help me spot fields that are never or seldom used. The objective is simple: try and keep the tables as simple as possible, avoid redundant and useless fields. Complex tables, likely mean complex UI, which likely mean bad user experience. I want to avoid that.I’ve done a bit of searching but impressively enough I didn’t find any recommended solution or best practice. One option is to put a bunch of calculated fields that tell me if another field is filled or not. I’d really like to avoid that.I’m curious to know how others do it.
I'm experiencing a persistent issue with my Salesforce sync and have followed the troubleshooting steps in the Airtable documentation without resolution. I'm hoping that someone can help me understand why I continue to get these errors! Could anyone help me identify whether this is a known pagination issue with the Salesforce Reports API integration, and whether there is a fix or configuration option on Airtable's side? The SyncThe sync source is a Salesforce Report, type "Leads," in a standard tabular format, no groupings, summaries, matrices, or joined data. The only filters applied are: Created Date after October 2020, Converted = False, and filters to limit Owners (segmenting by Department). The report is sorted by 18-digit Record ID. The Unique ID field is set to the native Salesforce 18-digit Record ID. The Salesforce report contains 2,097 rows (confirmed via CSV export). Airtable is receiving approximately 2,212 rows before deduplication, 115 more rows than exist in the
We have ~2000 applicants per applications cycle. I’d like to add them all as read only portal guests filtered to only see their own record that has their login email associated with it. Is there any limit on how many applicants I can do this for?
Hi everyone,I’m a small business owner currently on an annual Airtable plan with about 11 months remaining.I need to add a contractor as a real collaborator/editor for a short period. Read-only access will not work for this workflow. I’m completely fine paying for the time she actually needs access, such as one month, but I do not want to accidentally commit to paying for an additional collaborator for the rest of the annual term.Is there any way to add a temporary collaborator on an annual plan and only pay for the month they are active?Or is there a recommended setup for short-term contractors who need editor-level access without triggering a full annual seat charge?I’d really appreciate any guidance before I add the user and create another unexpected billing issue.Thank you.
Hi everyone,I have a question regarding how billing works for Interface collaborators on the Business Plan.I currently have a Business Plan account and I’ve shared a specific Interface with several users who are on the Airtable Free Plan. When I check my Admin Panel, these users are correctly listed under the "Viewer" permission level. My question is: Will I be charged for these users?I want to make sure that sharing interfaces with "View-only" permissions doesn't trigger additional seat costs on my monthly/annual bill. Thanks in advance for the help!
Right now I am using Fillout for all of my questionnaires/lead retreival and zapping into Airtable. Now with Claude AI coming on board is there a way to utilize Airtable again for dynamic questionnaires?
