Hi, Im looking for tutorials specific for building a database that maps entities - organizations and initiatives, and the connections between them. Tutorials for commercial use are less helpful. thanks

Hm, if you could describe the workflows that you’re planning on handling I can see what I can do to help!

If you are looking to map entities and their connections a good tip is to have one table for Organizations, another for Initiatives and a separate junction table that links the two fields via linked record fields.  Most of the action will happen in the junction table.  You should add a field for “connection type” which will allow you to filter and report on the nature of each relationship and not just its existence.

If organizations connect to other organizations you’ll want a similar junction table for that as well.  Airtable’s linked records don’t natively support a table linking to itself in a many-to-many way without one.  The rollups and lookups on main tables can pull in connection counts or types for quick views.
