I’m reaching out to see if anyone else has experienced a sudden and unexplained drain on their Airtable AI credits recently.
I just realized that 100% of my AI budget has been completely consumed. What’s truly baffling is that there have been no specific high-volume actions, massive bulk runs, or manifest user errors on our end. No new complex workflows were deployed, and we’ve verified that no automation loops were triggered.
The biggest issue right now is the complete lack of visibility. As far as I know, there isn't a granular usage log or credit breakdown showing which base, table, field, or automation actually ate up the budget. We are left entirely in the dark as to what caused this spike.
A few questions for the group:

Has anyone else witnessed a sudden, unexpected depletion of their AI credits without a clear cause?

Are there any "hidden culprits" we should look out for? (e.g., background syncs, lookup fields inadvertently forcing mass AI recalculations, etc.)

Is there a way to request a detailed consumption breakdown from the Airtable team that isn't accessible via the standard admin panel?
Any insights, feedback, or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated before I open a formal ticket with support.
