I have a problem when i try to download media files (videos) from my data sheet on my phone(pixel with GrapheneOS) i can’t i don’t get a popup and i don’t get any information why. I gave all the permissions to the app and it still doesn’t work. When i click share i get a popup with a name of the file and a progress bar that is half full and it never moves. Can someone please help i need to move media files across multiple pixel devices and from multiple people contributing so this would really help but just doesn’t work?

+32As a data point, on a Pixel 8 when I download videos, the process goes:
- Click Download
- Nothing happens for like 10 seconds (2.5 mb file), no progress indicator or indication that the download has started
- A popup appears that says ‘Download finished’ or something, and then it’s in files
You’ve probably already thought of this, but I’m wondering if maybe what’s happening to you is the file is really big, it’s downloading in the background slowly, and before it can finish you’re restarting the app? Quick way to test this would be to try downloading a 500kb video maybe?
