Adding data to synced table

I couldn’t find anything specifically answering this and it may be a dumb question. Within our workspace we have a base that has tables for the various types of common data we use, and that data is synced to its respective databases for each department. The particular table I’m looking at contains common site locations  that are used across the board. These site locations are synced to each respective department. However, each department may have their own unique sites to add. Is it possible to keep the common sites synced and also give each department the ability to  add their own sites to that same table in their respective bases?

I have setup an automation so when someone emails a purchase request, it makes a record and notifies me in Airtable, however it doesn’t look like there is away to email an attachment and have it populate the attachment field. Is this possible?

Grouping not preserved when publishing interface

I have an interface for managing tasks with two pages. On the first page, I am using grouping and sorting, which works as intended… For the second page, I had tried to duplicate this same grouping and sorting… When I click away to the previous page, or when I publish the interface however, the sorting is preserved but not the grouping… How can I fix this issue so the interface preserves this grouping when after publishing?Thank you in advance!

Looking for someone to build a base for me (client/project tracking)

Hello, I am a dog trainer who does  in home private sessions (sold in packages of 3,5, 7 and 9 sessions).I am looking for a way to keep track of where I am with each client (how many lessons have they used/ how many lessons are left?). I also need a way to keep track if I have sent a follow up email after each sessions. I got the idea of Airtable after ChatGPT gave me an example of this base, but alas, the AI cannot create said base. I also need a real person I can tweak things with. I tried to do it myself, I get frustrated not being familiar with AirTable.  I will provide more specifics, but this is pretty much it.

Sync Google Sheets ‘DATA’ tab to Airtable (Multiple tabs with ImportRange in use)

Hello everyone,I have a Google Sheet with multiple tabs, including one main tab called DATA which is updated at regular intervals. The other tabs in the sheet rely on this DATA tab using IMPORTRANGE and other formulas, so I can’t isolate or split it into a separate sheet.My goal is to sync the DATA tab into Airtable, ideally in near real-time, so changes in Google Sheets reflect automatically in Airtable.The problem I’m facing is: Airtable’s direct import only works with single tab Google Sheet. I cannot split or isolate the DATA tab into a new file, as it will break all dependent tabs using formulas. Has anyone successfully set up a sync in this kind of setup? I am trying to create a list of members who have not made a booking yet.  I have two table; Members and Bookings.  The relationship is one to many i.e. the Bookings table can have many records from one member.  I want to create a view or table which shows me which members don’t have a booking.  We can then contact them and find out why they have signed up and not used the service.

Using Make & Documentero to pull data from multiple Airtable records and enter into table

I am trying to use Airtable, Make, and Documentero to pull data from multiple records in Airtable and place in a table in a Word document generated with Documentero. The table will have multiple rows and multiple columns. Each row will contain several fields from Airtable, each field with its own column. How do I format the template in Microsoft word and configure the fields in Make using the Documentero module?

Auto Number that Resets Every Year

(So, since I’m a “New” user even though I’ve used airtable for years, I can only post 5 images per post, so I’m breaking this up into multiple responses. ) Hi guys! I encountered a need to have this solved, and the nature of the problem just doesn’t mesh well with creating a formula to fix it. Here’s a topic that was looking for a good answer on this, and one that gives an answer that I think can be improved upon: Rolling Customer Number Based On Year Base design I need to create a customer number that includes the year, and an accruing customer number. E.g. 2020-0001, 2020-0002, etc. The thing is, every year, the year has to change in the customer number, and the four numbers after it have to reset. So if the last number of 2020 is 2020-1234, the first number of 2021 will be 2021-0001 again. I can get the year from the Created Time field The problem is the numbers after the year… I figure I can’t use an autonumber because it won’t reset each year. …

This behavior was introduced for security reasons and can cause problems with displaying multimedia content in your applications. The solution: use Cloudinary with Zapier or MakeTo overcome this limitation, I implemented a workflow that uses Cloudinary together with Zapier (or Make) to obtain permanent and public URLs for images or videos. Need Help with Two-Way Sync Between Tables in the Same Base

I'm struggling to set up a two-way sync between two tables in the same Airtable base: Clients and Campaign Management.Here's the Setup: Clients Table: Contains a full list of clients and their program levels. Campaign Management Table: Used to track each client's active campaign status without cluttering the Clients table with extra columns. What I’m Trying to Achieve: When a client is marked as active on a specific campaign (e.g., Facebook) in the Clients table, that status should automatically appear in the Campaign Management table. If the campaign status is turned off in the Campaign Management table, it should also reflect as turned off in the Clients table. Essentially, the campaign status should be mirrored and editable between the two tables in real-time. The Issue: The "Sync Linked Tables" feature under "Share and sync" seems like it should work, but it's greyed out and unavailable when I try to use it.
