Project Management base is too convoluted

Looking for some help “fixing” my project management base.
I have so many bases and would like to link different bases to the main dashboard but also need to keep these hidden from other employees (accounting tab etc).
Scheduling would be nice - since we use a different app for that
Some automation would be great - but it is not in our budget for complicated zaps at this time.

I feel like my base is so overwhelming and it takes a lot of effort on the part of another employee to update and that is the reason he doesn’t - so I spend more of my time looking for information in emails.

If I need to send screenshots or invites to my base for you to understand what I’m talking about - let me know.
