I work for a company that delivers services to private and domestic clients

I currently have two bases set up.

One which lists ‘People’ Base 1
One which lists ‘Companies’ Base 2

In both bases are examples of clients. i.e. we may work for Acme Ltd (Company) or Mrs Smith (Person).

However the companies base is not exclusively clients (it also includes supplier etc) and the contacts base isn’t exclusively clients (also includes people who work for companies)

Is there a way I can pull companies labelled as clients and individuals labelled as clients into a new base called clients?

Hey Nick,

Unless there’s a specific permissions-related reason for keeping the bases separate (i.e. you’re working with people who should only be able to see the information in a single base), I’d probably recommend combining all of these bases into a single base and (where appropriate) perhaps a single table.

This support article on combining tables might help.

You may find our Simple Sales CRM helpful as well (i.e. specifically take a look at how the linked record field links clients and companies).

Is this helpful?
