I have 15 tables in one base now, and I’m trying to decide if I should be more aggressive moving over tables to a new base.

I was scarred by the limitation (25) of automations previously, so trying to learn ahead of time.

You can have up to 1,000 tables per base, according to this support page.

However, if you get anywhere close to the limit, you probably should revisit your base design.

Here are some other limits that various people find restrictive:

  • 25 automations
  • record count limits
  • 50,000 automation runs / month (depending on plan)
  • limits on synced tables
  • limit of 500 fields per table
  • attachment storage limits
  • API rate limits ( if you use the REST API)

Is this an all time limit?

If so what happens if you hit it? This seems like a terrible rule if so…

  • 50,000 automation runs (depending on plan)

The limit on automations runs is currently a monthly limit. The quota resets each month. If you hit the limit during the middle of the month, there is no way to buy more runs. Some people who have used up all their runs due to unusual situations/errors have been able explain the situation to support and get more automation runs for that particular month.
