Calculating work date differences for due dates

Hello! Using the current formula:
IF(DATETIME_FORMAT({Date of Outreach}, ‘DD/MM/YYYY’) = 22/07/2017, “ :white_check_mark: ”, “ :x: ”)
But for some reason it doesn’t validate when the date is 22/07/2017 in Date of Outreach field…

Any ideas why?

Put quotation marks around the date: “22/07/2017”.
