Hi
I am wondering what is the best way to setup a view. I want to create a field that I could just check off, if I own a postage stamp in my collection. When I set up the actual view, I would like to have only those records that has NO check mark showing. I realize this is a bit counter intuitive, but it’s easier for me to check off what I have, instead of what I don’t have.
First of all, can this be done? Secondly, what would be the easiest way to set this up?
Or, is there another way to do this?
Thank you,
MK

If I understand correctly, I think this can be accomplished with a Filter that only shows records without your check mark (so records of stamps you do not have). Then, if you check your field, it will remove those records since you now own/have that stamp.

Hi Alex_Wolfe
Thank you for the reply.
Yes, I do mean filters. What would be the easiest way to set up the filter?
Thank you,

Hi
A bit of an update. I decided to use the Choice field, so this way I can select YES or NO, but I still don’t know what’s the best way to setup my filter. lol

You would filter for only one of your choices, to show whichever records you prefer.

Hi Alex_Wolfe
I figured it out, by using your suggestion. Thank you for your help.
