I’ve discovered that on the Mac, if you hold down the OPTION key while you click on the button (or while you click on a URL in a URL field), it will open up that URL in a new tab in the background — but it won’t navigate you away from Airtable. If you’re on Windows, my guess is that holding down the ALT key would do the same thing.
