Hi, pretty sure I know the answer to this question but figured I’d confirm. I have a database that contains a large list of groups - businesses, nonprofits, media outlets etc… Each group has a category and a set of subcategories - 1 to x. The subcategories are per category, there are some overlaps, but not many. I want to be able to select a Category - Say Healthcare - and then be able to select from only the subcategories assigned to that Category. This is a really basic DB feature and is the core of my simple tool. If Airtable does not support I’ll look for another option. Thanks for your help!

You are correct, Airtable does not support anything like this right now. There may be ways to work around this to simulate what you are wanting, but I guarantee they wouldn’t be pretty. You’re probably better off looking at other options.

Thanks for quick reply. So strange, this is such a basic feature. Pity, it’s a great tool otherwise.
