I have seen various questions like this, but no good solutions.
I am parsing text from an email into airtable and using the DATETIME_PARSE() function to extract it.
I have tried many formula variations, but AirTable refuses to see the parsed time as the correct time for MY timezone. This is an issue because my next step is to turn this into a google calendar event via zapier.
The best solution I can see is to add the time difference, however this is very complicated with daylight savings as I am booking events inside and outside of DST while being inside and outside of DST.
The only way I can see to do it is to have a formula that adds a different amount to the time based on the event date and when DST is for that year, which will require yearly maintenance but I literally cannot find a better way.
Any help is appreciated.
