Hi guys I’m having a bit of a complex challenge with airtable. So I’m making a backend for an app on airtable, the app uses a complex nested tagging structure.
I was able to put all the tags on airtable via Parent and Child Tables, then I linked each parent and child according to their relationship, using lookup fields to present all fields on the parent table.
Now I’m trying to figure out how to record a Tag on a table, so that on a form a user can type in or select a tag on any nesting level and the record will be tagged with all the parent tags before it, and then in future be able to filter for that record with any of the parent tags.
Hopefully, that makes sense and is feasible.
Thanks in advance, I tried searching the forums but really didn’t understand many of the explanations being given.
