After going to interfaces and choosing the grid option there is an option to hide and show certain fields.

However, all the fields that you show can either be editable or non-editable. It would be a great and easy addition to choose individually which visible fields can be editable and which not.

If this was possible, you could potentially build a fully functional portal instead of using additional tools like Softr, Miniextensions, etc. for it.

I would also like to see this feature. The only work around is going into bases and setting permissions to each field to only be editable by certain users or groups. It would be great to instead set field permissions right on the interface designer depending on the person or interface page currently being viewed on.

Increasing the Visibility function to include the option to hide depending on the user or group would be a great similar addition.
