How to get a warning message when is a duplicate record?

I enter many records per day, and sometimes they are duplicated. How can I have airtable warn me about a duplicate record?

Hi,
there are many ways, usually including automation run after each new created record. but the most simple - switch field total to ‘Unique’

if the numbers are different, then you have duplicates :grinning:
