Map Block Must "Reconnect to Server" Periodically to Display Geochache on Map

Periodically, every 2-3 weeks perhaps, 75+% of our locations (about 115 total) will cease showing up on the map and we have to manually go in to the database and “reconnect to server.” Is this normal?
