So I have two bases that have a lot of items(over 2k records). Unfortunately, I had more items and details in the first base and I built the second without importing the latest CSV from the first. My issue now is I want them to be the same but the second base only has model numbers whereas my first has images, item descriptions and a lot of other details. They have the exact same column structure.
I’m trying to figure out the most efficient way to make them the same.
1st idea is to build a script (although I don’t know Java very well) that asks if 2402 is found in the second base then add other details from a CSV upload. Sort of like find and replace but find one column and replace other columns with different details.
2nd idea is to upload the CSV from the first database and then Dedupe everything it finds into one good record.
Thoughts?
