My company uses Airtable to join multiple tables, calculate statistics, and automate the linking of values between linked fields in different tables using the "Run Script" automation feature. Occasionally, we encountered failures due to the 30-second execution time limit for the "Run Script." However, starting in December, the limit was extended to 60 seconds, which has effectively resolved this issue. We are grateful for Airtable's continuous efforts to improve its performance.

Yes, the increased time limit for automation scripts is very nice. However, I recommend caution when deciding that this has resolved your issue in the long term. Depending on how the script is written, if your script eventually needs to process more records, the script might reach this longer time limit. Initial testing is often performed on small datasets, and timeout issues sometimes don't appear until after the script is in production for a while and starts working on larger datasets.
