My base has a table, Posts, with two fields that are Linked Records to two other tables - respectively, Name and Company.
I have built a form for Posts with which a user should be able to submit a request. When they select a Name and Company from the form dropdown, they can select one or more of the Names or Companies - if they already exist in the Names and Categories tables.
That’s fine but, if the required Names and Companies do not yet exist, I want the user to be able to type this in, whereupon it should be added to those two tables and available for future selection as part of the dropdown lists.
This is the way the workflow should best work.
FYI, users submitting the forms will not necessarily be registered Airtable users with any permissions.
Is this possible please?
