We are a small design build construction company. We have started using airtable to organize the design details of our projects. These include things like paint colors, cabinets, flooring, etc

Our ideal workflow would be:

 

  1. Click a button to create a new project and then be able to import templates based on what is in that project scope (tile work, bathroom, kitchen etc).
  2. Pull items from our catalog and other sources to create the selections.
  3. Generate a PDF report that we could send to the client to get a signature.
  4. Track changes made to the selections.
  5. Once the selections are signed, we would move to procurement and use airtable to track purchased items ( when to order, and when they arrive on site).
  6. When the project is complete we would present the customer with a printed copy of all the selections.

 

 

 

The key portions of the tasks:

 

  • Creating multi-page exports in PDF or google docs. From our research, there are several add-ons that can do this but we want someone to set it up.
  • Help us set up templates so we can quickly create new projects.
  • Help us create a product database of frequently used products so we can easily pull them into new projects.
  • We would like a partner who is an Airtable expert that would be able to: (1) guide us in developing this solution based on our needs; and (2) suggest innovative solutions to make our processes more efficient.
  • There would most likely be a lot of smaller tasks
