listing only unique entries from list of individuals from one table into another

Hi There,

I have a list of individuals in a text field whose name often repeats. I want to know the best practice in automatically taking only the unique entries, i.e. only listing each person's name once, and creating an updating list of those entries in a separate table. The idea would be to create an automatic table that lists the names of people if that person's name is listed in the "name" column within a specific calendar month.

If I were you I'd try creating a new table called "People" and converting the field that contains the names into a linked field to the "People" table.  This will create one record per unique person name in the "People" table
