I am working on creating an automation to automatically send an Outlook invite to specific email addresses when something happens. Things are going well in my automation, except I cannot get the start time/end time to work. This is the error code I am receiving: Unable to parse datetime: “”
It works when I use the static option, but not the dynamic option (which is what the event would need to be). Any ideas for how to solve the issue?
I’ve tried using the date/times as the following:
- No time field
- Time field as a prefilled option
- Time field as a unique time
- Date as the current date
- Date in the future
- Date in the past
Here is what the automation window looks like:
Here is what the test row looks like:

Is your screenshot an example of what’s failing? Because that is set up properly.
Did you try retesting the trigger again, and then retest the action?
If so, and it still doesn’t work, I would email support@airtable.com about this, and let us know what they say.

Hey Abby, hmm, this is a weird one, I wasn’t able to replicate this myself (screenshots below). How are are you populating the Start DateTime and End DateTime? I was manually selecting my timings, and am wondering if that may be the difference here
