Hi
I am trying to create an automation where a record in one table (New Listing) is updated by submission and record creation in another table (Sold).
Example: Record sits in New Listing and then a form is submitted in Sold, then a record is created in the Sold table. I want this to then update the status of the record in New Listing to Sold?
Can this be done?
Thanks

That can be done with automations, but the best way to do that in Airtable would be to simply create 2 views — one filtered to show you new listings, and one filtered to show you sold listings.
I discuss views in depth in my free Airtable training course, which you can take for free by signing up for a trial membership with LinkedIn Learning.

Is there any link between the "new listing" record and the "sold" record? Eg, preflling the "sold" form with some kind of unique ID from the "new listing" record? Or a list (linked field to the "new listings") where they can choose from in the form?
