I created a very mobile-friendly app using AirTable, had participants download the AirTable mobile app, and attempted to showcase the mobile interface with about 80 participants in a room. Participants complained of seeing completely blank screens or only partial amounts of data showing up.

Is the Teams Edition insufficient for this use case, and do I need the business or enterprise version to handle this type of traffic?

*P.S. The wifi was not the issue.

It sounds like the problem you're having is more with Airtable's real-time sync or show on mobile devices than with the limitations of the Teams Edition. Upgrading to a business or enterprise version might give you more benefits, like more storage space or better customer service, but it might not solve this problem directly. Before you decide to update, you might want to find out if problems with network connectivity, caching, or sync are to blame.
