Airtable Base Design / Web UI very slow & unuseable lately

Hi.  For the past 1 - 3 days, I've been experiencing immense slowdowns using the web UI interface of Airtable, when loading tables, changing formulas, doing any updates whatsoever.  This used to work pretty fast up till now. As far as I know, nothing drastic has changed from my base size, or design.

The Web UI takes ages to load irrespective of table size, I have tables of less than 200 records which take a very long time, and also others of 10,000 records. 

Tools integrating with Airtable, like Make and some other tools, still work pretty fast and get good response rates.

I have no idea where to start to troubleshoot such performance issues, or how to go about this.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I hope you have found the solution. If not, I would suggest you:

- Ensure your browser is current and try clearing your cache and cookies. Sometimes performance issues arise from outdated or overloaded browser data. You can also test Airtable in an incognito or private browsing window or a different browser

- Run a speed test to confirm your connection is stable. A slow or unstable internet connection can impact the speed of web-based tools like Airtable. 

- Simplify formulas where possible or reduce the number of active filters in large views to see if it improves responsiveness. While your base size hasn’t changed, complex formulas, a high number of linked fields, or views with many filters can impact performance. 

- Disable any non-essential extensions temporarily and refresh the page. Browser extensions can sometimes interfere with Airtable’s functionality.
