Filtering by lookup field values

I would like viewers to be able to filter a table by a value in a lookup field without typing it in themselves. Is there a way to have lookup field values from a multiple select list come through as defined list items.

Just ran into this situation myself and I can’t find a way. Would make search a lot easier for our Project Managers.
