Overview revenue in a new table

Hi,

I’m trying to understand Airtable better, so I’m hoping someone can help me out.

I have a table with projects, the month the project has to be finished and a estimation of the revenue.

The next step is to create (with a new table, because a new grid view doesn’t do the trick) an overview of the revenue per month and per year in total. I just don’t understand how to create this. Who can help me out?

If you have the Pro plan, you can use the Pivot Table app. Otherwise, I would suggest creating a new view where the records are grouped by month/year (create a new field if you need to). Then the summary bar (or whatever it’s called) at the top of each grouping can do arithmetic on numeric fields. Not sure what else to suggest.
