Hello there!
Currently we use Google forms to gather registration information from clients. Is there a way of creating a registration form on Airtable, from which the answers would go automatically to our Airtable base please? I am trying to avoid copying and pasting… Although I am sure there is a better way of importing this data too.

thanks,
Reeta

Welcome to the community, @Reeta_Behm! :slightly_smiling_face:

Yes, that is one of the many great advantages of using Airtable!

You can simply create a new form view for your table, customize the form with the fields that you would like to appear on it, and then share the form URL with your clients!

And that’s it! You can create a form in about 60 seconds!

And the submitted data will go right into your Airtable base as a brand new record.

The Airtable forms are relatively basic (but then again, so are Google Forms). But if you need to create a more advanced form, you can use any of the dozens of form-creation websites that are out there (including Google Forms), and then send that form data into Airtable using an automation tool like Zapier.

Hope this helps! If this answers your question, could you please mark this comment as the solution to your question? This will help other people who have a similar question. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi there!

At miniExtensions, we've created a third-party form that integrates seamlessly with Airtable. Some of the most popular features include:

  1. Linked Record Creation: Form users can create new linked records directly from the form, simplifying data entry across related tables.
  2. Save & Continue: Users can save their progress and return to the form later, making it easier to complete complex forms.
  3. Address Autocomplete and Location Data Capture: You can automatically fill out address fields and even capture GPS location and IP addresses, giving you greater insights into form submissions.
  4. Conditional Fields & Branching: You can set up fields that show or hide based on previous responses, as well as direct users to specific pages based on their answers.
  5. Custom Field Prefills: Prefill hidden or visible fields with URL parameters to save time and streamline form submissions.

Here's a basic form example with address autocomplete enabled:

These features and more are available with miniExtensions, and you can try them with a free account! We also accept feature requests, so if you have something in mind that we could build for you, feel free to reach out!
