I have a main table to which I would like to link a child table for notes.
The main table ‘Numbers’ contains a telephone number (which we are manually keeping unique) as the number is the primary customer identifier. There are many other fields in the table.
I would like a separate ‘Notes’ table that would contain notes regarding the account over time. Ideally, the notes table would contain the ‘Number’ it relates to, the Date the note was created, Who created it and (of course) the note.
The ‘Numbers’ table would have a ‘Notes’ field that displays the date and most recent note(s). If adding a note the date and creator would auto-populate and allow entry of the note.
Any great ideas or examples.
