Create Formular Field and assign a value via API

As the topic suggests, i'd like to create a formular field using the API and assign a formular value. The purpose is to use RECORD_ID() as a primary key for my records. I have made a call using the API to attempt to do this but i'm getting a validation error.

I will be grateful for any pointers, thanks.

Airtable doesn’t allow creating formula fields using the API.
