Set record id, when creating a new record using the API

When creating a new record using the API, is it possible to explicitly set the record id?

Hi @Tommy_C - no, the record ID (“recXXXXXXXXXXX”) is set by Airtable when a record is created and you have no control over this. You could, however, create your own ID field and set this.
