Hi all

Does anyone have any suggestions for good AI tools that are suitable for extracting data from PDFs?

I need to be able to extra data such as packet ID, product SKUs, quantity, price from my suppliers stock lists and invoices and map these against my platforms SKUs.

Or if anyone knows someone with experience in this area then keen to get in touch.

I was in a similar spot a while back, trying to pull order details from supplier invoices into my system. Manually doing it was a nightmare—lots of copy-pasting and mistakes. I ended up testing a bunch of free AI tools and found that some worked surprisingly well for structured PDFs, but messy invoices were trickier. One trick that helped was using a tool that could convert the PDFs to tables first, then mapping SKUs with a simple script. Check out this list—some of these might be exactly what you need. If your PDFs aren’t super consistent, you might need a bit of tweaking, but once it’s set up, it saves a ton of time.
