I am generating barcodes and I need to use more than 7 characters. However, when I add more than 7 my iphone is no longer able to read the barcode.
I’m able to type in barcodes that are longer manually, but I can’t scan them.

+35I’m able to successfully use the barcode field with my iPhone to scan very long barcodes, such as the ones found on the back of gift cards. Maybe check your barcodes to make sure that they’re not compromised in some way that makes them partially unreadable?
