Hey Everyone,

Wondering if anyone knows of a way to edit a record in a shared table in one base that is from another base in airtable.

I operate off of one base daily and have a shared table of all of my projects from my projects base that I check everyday, but whenever I want to update something on my shared projects table I have to go to that specific base to do it, which is kinda annoying so hoping for a solution.

There's no easy way to do this I'm afraid.  You could try to:
1. Create new fields in the synced view
2. Create a synced view of that synced view in your shared projects table
3. Create automations to update the records as needed based on the new data that's synced over

There would be maybe 10+ minutes of lag time though, and would be very clunky

The other alternative would be to create the new fields and use third party tools like Zapier to help you with the data updates in the shared projects table.  Again, this would be quite laggy (15 minutes ish)
