Black diamond with a white question mark within text in csv import?

trying to import a csv file to start a table, keep getting half of the rows of text containing the black diamond with a white question mark between words, any advice is appreciated. thanks

See this earlier thread. Seemingly caused by mismatch between the encoding in which the file was saved and the one which the server has been led to expect…

FYI, I actually saved the csv file as a csv utf-8 vs the I suppose standard just CSV and it uploaded without issue. thx again
