Can a shared grid view be edited?

I am aware that when I share a grid view, the person whom I share it with can only view and cannot edit it. Is there a way to enable the person to edit the shared grid view?

Not yet, but that’s a planned feature that Airtable will be releasing soon.

In the meantime, you can use MiniExtensions.com or Stacker to do that.

Oh, they are really planing to release that soon? That is nice to hear. We started using miniExtensions for a lot of things, but only thing their edit view is kinda lacking is advanced filtering, sorting and other customizable stuff Airtable in-build share have.

Yes, they are almost done internally testing it at Airtable. My guess is that Airtable will have it released within the next month.
