Hi,
Am I missing this option, or do I need to submit a feature request? I have a Table called Statuses, which I use on multiple tables and multiple fields so that I don’t have to setup a single select 20+ times. When I make a new record, any fields linked to Statuses should default to “0-Not Started” record form Statuses. Is there an option I am missing to set the default linked field?

Unfortunately, Airtable doesn’t have a default value feature (yet!?!). If you want to set the value automatically then the only real option is to use Zapier or Integromat to do it - and this seems like overkill to me at least compared to simply selecting the first item on the list.
However, with either tool you could complete records where the field is left blank…

One of our extensions allows you to set a default value for any field, including linked records.

If you make new records using a form from within interfaces, one can set a linked record to have a default value.
