When i try to create an app, the scripting editor is not available, when i click to edit the app, it asks me to connect a local app through the CLI.
This is not in line with any of the guides i have seen online. I do not want to setup a loocal editing environment, how can i edit code right in the web app?
Welcome to the community, @David_Cody! :grinning_face_with_big_eyes: When creating a custom app, the only option for editing custom app code is via an external editor. Airtable is only used for testing of the app, while the setup files live on your local hard drive until the app is released.
If you just want to write a script that you can run interactively, add the Scripting app, which provides you with an editing environment directly in Airtable.
