This question was asked about a year ago with the same title but there was no answer (I cannot include links).

I’m keeping a food diary and I keep entering the same food names again and again. It would be nice if I enter “veg” and the autofill will make it “vegetable” because it was in a previous record. I think this is standard in all spreadsheets.

Is there a way to achieve this in AirTable?

You’re writing that in a text field? I would use other field types for repetitive values, like Single Select or Linked Record.

Thanks! Single Select works.
