Shortcuts to switch between views/bases/tables is potentially a great productivity boost!

When using a shortcut after successfully switching to the desired location, the keyboard does not automatically focus itself on any of the records.

Is there any way to focus on any of the records using the keyboard? One way is to create a new record and then delete it using Keyboards shortcuts. However, this is cumbersome.

We share the same frustration as you. There is no easy way to use Airtable entirely from the keyboard. I would suggest emailing this as a feature request to support@airtable.com (but I should warn you in advance that they are terrible about caring about user requests, so this issue will likely never improve).
