Hi, I’m looking for a way to streamline entering the same data in Airtable in a few different places. I enter due dates for an entire project, but we have SMEs that enter some of the same due dates in another tab for when each individual channel will Go-live. Is there a way to link individual task due dates to another tab’s individual tasks?

Hey Jenny,

Here are a couple of ways you can do this.

  1. Create an Automation that copies the date from one field to the other
  2. Create a Due Dates table with the Primary field being a date field. Then link that everywhere.

Thanks! Do you have a link to an article on how I would do either of those?

Here are a few starting places

look at the ‘When Record is updated’ trigger

Sorry I clicked enter too fast!

and look at the ‘Update a record’ action

and the Primary Field - You can link this to multiple tables as a linked record
